Dr. Timothy Fetter, D.C., M.S.W.
I never set out to be a Chiropractor. After I completed my masters degree in Social Work, I intended on completing a Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology. During that time I was injured in two different car accidents, due to no fault of my own. My injuries required Chiropractic to get on my feet again, and I was so inspired by the life changing process that I enrolled in Palmer College of Chiropractic to help others recover in the way that I did.
I expanded on the traditional Chiropractic skill set in both extracurricular and post-graduate studies to learn more about adjusting the cranial bones of the skull to help with headaches and tension, treating muscular trigger points to relieve muscle tension, clinical nutrition and anti-inflammatory diet strategies to aid the healing process, as well as Functional Medicine and coaching.
My career has been diverse, as I have practiced in various behavioral health settings and services, have created and instructed undergraduate Psychology courses at The University of Pittsburgh at Greensburg, owned my own brick and mortar Chiropractic office in Greensburg, PA, and practiced telehealth Functional Medicine in Illinois and Colorado.
Outside of practice, I’m deeply interested in how movement, nutrition, stress, and mindset shape long-term health. I stay active through mountain biking, hiking, and strength training. I hold a fourth-degree black belt in Uechi-Ryu karate and maintain a personal practice of meditation and reflective reading.
This practice reflects what I believe healthcare should feel like:
Calm. Intentional. Personalized. Human.
