Dr. Timothy Fetter, D.C., M.S.W.
I never set out to be a Chiropractor. After I completed my undergraduate degree in Psychology and Masters Degree in Social Work, I intended on completing a doctorate in Counseling Psychology. During that time I was injured in two different car accidents, due to no fault of my own. My injuries required Chiropractic to get on my feet again, and I was so inspired by the life changing process that I enrolled in Palmer College of Chiropractic to help others recover in the way that I did.
I expanded on the traditional Chiropractic skill set in both extracurricular and post-graduate studies to learn more about adjusting the cranial bones of the skull to help with headaches and tension, treating muscular trigger points to relieve muscle tension, clinical nutrition and anti-inflammatory diet strategies to aid the healing process, as well as Functional Medicine and Coaching.
I have been a clinician for over 25 years, and my career has spanned across a variety of clinical settings, including:
Practicing telehealth Functional Medicine in Illinois, Colorado, and Pennsylvania
Owning a Chiropractic office in Greensburg
Digital Health Coaching for patients navigating chronic health conditions in Minnesota, Washington, Texas, and Pennsylvania
Developing and Instructing undergraduate Psychology courses at The University of Pittsburgh at Greensburg
Practicing as a Therapist in outpatient clinics, schools, and homes in Westmoreland and Allegheny counties
Outside of practice, I’m deeply interested in how movement, nutrition, stress, and mindset shape long-term health. I stay active through mountain biking, hiking, and strength training. I hold a fourth-degree black belt in Uechi-Ryu karate and maintain a personal practice of meditation and reflective reading.
